The Butler County Fair welcomes multi‑platinum country artist Collin Raye as this year’s Friday night headliner. Known for emotional classics such as “Love, Me,” “In This Life,” and “One Boy, One Girl,” Raye brings a heartfelt, unforgettable show to the fairgrounds. Tickets available here or at the gate!

The Butler County Fair Livestock Show Arena has been a cornerstone of our fair since the 1970s, hosting livestock shows, 4-H competitions, and countless memories for generations of families. After decades of service the structure now faces critical needs that require immediate attention.

Colby’s parents are Robert and Kristen Wix of Allison.

The Butler County Community Foundation has given the fair a generous grant of $10,000 for a new handicapped parking area located on the north side of the grounds near the small log cabin, as well as new paved sidewalks in key areas. You will find these sidewalks between the swine/sheep/goat building and the Maifield livestock building, and between the Maifield livestock building and the Multi-Purpose building by the treasurers office. These additions will greatly impact the accessibility for individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and anyone who appreciates a smooth walking path. Thank You to the Butler County Community Foundation for this amazing donation!

The Butler County Fair in Allison, IA has been holding annual fairs since 1856.
